GascoyneConnect

Located on the doorstep to major resource projects in the Pilbara and Midwest regions, the Gascoyne encompasses the Local Government areas of the Shire of Shark Bay, Shire of Carnarvon, Shire of Upper Gascoyne, and Shire of Exmouth. GascoyneConnect is an online database which provides building/construction businesses and associated service industries in the Gascoyne with an opportunity to promote their capability to the resource sector and wider community. Project managers and buyers based outside of the Gascoyne can also readily access GascoyneConnect to find businesses in the Region that can supply competitive goods and services. There are no fees for registering your business with GascoyneConnect.
   

HOW IT WORKS

You can simply register your business and the goods and services you supply on this site and wait for buyers to contact you. Alternately once registered, you can actively seek contract opportunities through links provided by the ProjectConnect website. This site is part of the Western Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry ProjectConnect database which is used by industry project procurement officers to find suitable goods and services.

BENEFITS

By registering on GascoyneConnect your business is also listed on the broader ProjectConnect database.
From a 2009 ProjectConnect supplier survey:

  • 47% said they were alerted to at least one new opportunity which they had pursued
  • 21% said it had led them to tendering for additional work
  • 11% said it allowed them to develop new business relationships
  • 8% had won additional contracts

  • You must have a Gascoyne postal address 6537, 6701, 6705, 6707
  • You must have employees permanently based in the Gascoyne
  • The goods and services that you provide from your Gascoyne location must fit within the products and services categories listed in the ProjectConnect Capability Register
